Power Shovel casts you as a rookie operator handling a massive earthmover through chaotic construction challenges. Choose from three modes: tear down buildings, fling curry sauce over rice, or tackle timed skill tests to earn credentials. Each task blends physics-based controls and slapstick objectives like demolishing cars or parking behemoths in tight spaces. Two players can battle head-to-head in split-screen, alternating missions until one secures a two-win lead. The Level Editor lets you build custom courses with hazards like pits and fences, then test them with three distinct shovels that balance speed, strength, and capacity. Switch between first and third-person views to fine tune your approach. The game’s mix of absurd humor and mechanical precision sets it apart. Missions like "curry pouring" add a bizarre twist to heavy machinery simulations while the split-screen mode remains surprisingly robust for 2000s-era design. With 60+ unlockable items and user-created levels, the 6x6 grid editor extends replayability beyond its initial arcade roots. Storyline

Step up and take charge of the POWER SHOVEL. You're the "New Guy" on site with a piece of heavy equipment and a crazy foreman. Do a great job, earn lots of money and go shopping! Do a bad job and you'll hear it from the boss.
