Praise Dead is an indie strategy sim with roguelike elements. You scavenge corpses of villagers and monsters to build zombie squads, each assembled from swapped-out limbs and organs. Nightly demon attacks force you to tweak formations and upgrade relics between battles. The auto-battler mechanics let you focus on part placement and relic synergies rather than micromanagement. Released December 5, 2023, it runs on PC and sticks to single-player. The blend of gross resource management and tactical combat stands out, with over 40 unique relics reported to tweak playstyles.
