You play as a warrior tasked with raising a young girl from age 10 to 18 in a medieval-inspired world. Your choices shape her skills, personality, and future. Manage her daily activities, relationships, and education to guide her toward a fulfilling life. The game blends simulation with strategy as you balance long-term goals with immediate needs. Each decision ripples into her career, marriage prospects, and overall contentment. The game’s branching paths and moral dilemmas create a deeply personal experience. Multiple endings emerge based on your priorities, rewarding careful planning or chaotic experimentation. Originally released in 1993, it predates many modern life-sim staples yet remains notable for its complex character development. Its cult following praises the weight of everyday choices, though dated visuals and text-heavy mechanics may challenge newer players. The sheer variety of outcomes ensures few playthroughs feel alike.
The game takes place in a fantasy world roughly modeled after medieval Europe with the starting year is given as 1210 K.D. The player's character is a famous warrior who defended the kingdom from an invasion by Lucifon, the Prince of Darkness (a corruption of Lucifer); consequently, he is known throughout the land as a military hero and receives an annual salary from the palace. One night, he receives a communication from a god whose identity is determined by the birth-date the player selects at the beginning of the game. This god bestows upon the mentioned player a child of the heavens, and it is their duty to raise her from the age of 10 to the age of 18, at which point she will enter a line of work; the most desirable outcome is that of a royal princess.
