This is a baseball game from Namco released for the Famicom in late 1988. It follows the same formula as previous entries in the Pro Yakyuu Family Stadium series but adds updated player rosters and a small handful of tweaks. The main change lets you choose between four different playing environments including a packed stadium or a smaller park. Gameplay remains focused on straightforward batting and fielding mechanics typical of early sports games on the platform. No online features or multiplayer modes are present. The most notable aspect is its position in a recurring annual cycle of releases with minimal changes between versions. While the venue options offer some variety, most updates are limited to fresh data and minor adjustments. Despite sharing a name with later R.B.I. Baseball entries localized in the US, this game is unrelated to those titles which were developed separately. The title is largely remembered by retro baseball game collectors for its role in Namco's early 90s strategy.
