Project Atlas puts players in a Martian setting where Corporate, Civilian, and Government groups compete or cooperate to build survival infrastructure. You start by gathering materials to establish basic structures needed for life on the red planet. Once you have enough reserves, the game shifts to phase two where you construct larger automated machinery. The title supports both first-person shooter combat and upcoming virtual reality modes for a different feel. Players can choose to work together across factions or engage in conflict depending on how the story unfolds. The path you take determines if the planet becomes a peaceful hub for advanced expansion or a war zone for resource extraction. One outcome sees factions building together until they fill up Mars and move outward, while another turns into a brutal struggle where the government attacks factories and civilians pick sides. Community data shows this title appeals to strategy fans who want to see how their choices reshape the entire world. It offers multiple endings without forcing you down a single path from the start.
The game has lots of outcomes, but there are 2 main, the pacifist and the warlord. In the pacifist version the 3 faction can build the most advanced infrastructure on mars and if they run out of space they can expand to other planets (Future Updates). The second outcome is the warlord where the government faction starts to bomb the corporate factories when the refused to capitulate (if you are a factory owner you can choose to give some percent of the factory income for the war to the government) in this scenario the civil people can choose where to join, to stay independent or to make terror attacks against Government or private corporate sites. If one if the factions win the war they can process all the resources on the planet and sell it back to Earth or other planets/stations. (In the future you can build space stations).
