Project Genesis lets you pilot a high-tech spacecraft and switch to a first-person avatar to battle inside massive alien ships. The action jumps between space dogfights and claustrophobic gunfights as you tackle an AI-driven war half a galaxy away. Shooters and sci-fi fans will recognize the frantic pacing and weapon variety, with co-op and multiplayer modes adding replayability. Currently in pre-alpha, the game from 8 Circuit Studios blends open-space thrillery with tight corridor combat. Released in 2020, it’s been refined for PC with Windows, focusing on quick transitions between environments. Community feedback shapes its evolution, and while polish is still ahead, the core loop of blasting through hulls and dodging plasma fire already feels sharp.
