Project Powder

Project Powder is an MMO snowboard racing game set in the far future. Global warming caused snow to disappear, but fortunately the invention of wormhole portals allowed humanity to visit planets where there is still snow. Now athletes meet across the stars to race against each other.

AD 2146 Continuing use of fossil fuels has devastated Earth with global warming. Polar ice caps have melted and winter no longer exists. A century has passed since anyone has seen a flake of snow. All winter related sports and activities are the things of legends. With a desperate desire to explore new frontiers, we have built Post Gate. This groundbreaking technology uses wormhole theory and allows us to officially embark on the space age. Uncharted stars with unspoiled lands have given us a second chance to play in the powder. Winter-like conditions from these new planets drive us to carve fresh powders like we did in our pasts. These new planets with less gravitational pull raise the bar for new riders and new tricks. Project Powder, as it has been dubbed, is the ultimate pilgrimage for every rider and rider-at-heart.
