Project U puts you in a session-based shooter where six distinct heroes fight back against a machine invasion. You pick a character from the immune roster like Summer or Z-Rex to join squads for massive online battles. The goal is simple enough. You and your team must hold the line against endless waves of enemies trying to convert all life into machines. This setup runs as a cooperative MMO on PC, so you will always have plenty of people to fight alongside during these intense matches. Ubisoft Annecy is currently testing this with a closed window from February 1-6 for players in Europe and North America. Early looks suggest the character abilities create real variety since each hero handles the crowd differently. The game relies on teamwork rather than solo performance to survive the overwhelming odds. It stands out by offering a straightforward loop where squads tackle big threats without needing complex story elements or open world exploration.
