Protagon lets you fling a glowing ball through zero-gravity courses using a handle-based aiming system. You pull back the handle to charge shots then release to send the ball careening past floating obstacles and into goal zones. The mix of mini-golf precision and pinball momentum keeps each round dynamic. Courses are compact but layered with ramps, triggers, and physics puzzles that shift based on how you approach them. The VR interface stands out as the game’s main hook. Pulling the handle feels natural and responsive even if the controls feel a bit clunky at times. While the core idea is clever the 15-20 hour campaign and lack of online modes limit long-term appeal. Still players who enjoy low-stakes physics experiments will find a solid time investment in Protagon’s orbiting playgrounds.
