Protodroid Delta is a 3D action-platformer where you control DeLTA, an AI bot fighting drone gangs in a sunlit Solarpunk landscape. The game blends precise platforming, weaponized takedowns, and boss battles as you upgrade systems to survive. You'll navigate floating cities and jungles while fending off waves of enemies, balancing agility and firepower to clear paths. The story follows DeLTA's push to earn human trust by stopping attacks on her creator's lab. The game’s standout is its polished mix of fluid movement and tactical combat. Bright, painterly environments contrast with tense firefights, and each boss test demands adapting your loadout. With release on PS4, PC, Xbox One, and Switch in May 2023, it delivers a concise but punchy single-player adventure. Developer Adam Kareem tightens every mechanic, making platforming feel weightless and gunplay snap with purpose.

Storyline

Dr. Shelton has finally created one of the first Protodroids - a droid with near-human levels of intelligence. DeLTA was made to "be the change," as her name suggests, that shows the world the promise of what AI can become. So Delta sets out to show the world that's she's more than 'just a robot' " However, an attack on Dr. Shelton's lab by a Drone-Gang Dr. Shelton forces her to enable DeLTAs combat subroutines and hurriedly retrofit her with weapons systems in self-defense. After DeLTA successful fends off the attackers, Dr. Shelton realizes that just as DeLTA saved her and the lab she could defend the entire region again'st the rising Drone-Gang threat that is claiming so many civilian lives. And by doing this she will and earn the city’s belief and affection. And that this may be the be the best way to convince the world that she's "more than just a robot" and come to embrace the promise of what AI can become.
