Psychic Force is a 90s fighting game where players control Psychiccers, individuals with elemental powers like fire, lightning, or time manipulation. Set in 2010, the story pits two factions against each other: NOA, a group building a psychic-only utopia, and Anti-NOA, fighting to stop their extreme methods. Each fighter wields distinct abilities tied to their element, blending melee strikes with special moves that let you freeze enemies, summon storms, or warp gravity. The single-player mode focuses on Burn Griffiths’ mission to stop his former friend Keith Evans, whose vision for a psychic-dominated world grows increasingly dangerous. What sets Psychic Force apart is its mix of fast-paced combat and a surprisingly detailed narrative for a fighter. Characters have sharp designs and clear motivations, with the elemental system adding strategic depth to matches. While its arcade roots show in the aggressive pacing, the game’s focus on rivalry and ideological conflict gives it more substance than many of its peers.
