Putt-Putt Goes to the Moon is the second entry in Humongous Entertainment's beloved Junior Adventures series. In this point-and-click puzzle game you guide Putt-Putt the talking car and his dog Pep after a fireworks mishap sends them hurtling to the lunar surface. The duo must gather tools and parts to build a working rocket while navigating the moon's quirky environments. Gameplay focuses on solving logic-based challenges interacting with peculiar alien characters and exploring retro-futuristic locations inspired by 1950s space fantasies. The game's charm comes from its lighthearted tone and inventive worldbuilding. Players encounter a cast of oddball lunar residents and a helpful but grumpy rover left behind by astronauts. Bright detailed graphics and accessible puzzles make it a nostalgic pick for fans of early 90s adventure games. With over 2 million units sold across platforms it remains a cult classic. Its simple yet satisfying progression and family-friendly humor hold up despite its age.
Putt-Putt was planning a nice day at Mr. Firebird's Firework Factory, but an accident sends him blasting into space! Putt-Putt and his dog Pep find themselves stranded on the moon, where they meet not only a variety of strange aliens, but also Rover, a lunar rover who was abandoned on the moon by astronauts. Together, Putt-Putt and Rover must find several objects to build a rocket and return to Earth.
