Puzzle Boys is a competitive puzzle game that pits players against each other in fast-paced matches. You rearrange blocks to form complete lines, with the goal of clearing them faster than your opponent. The game supports single player challenges and split screen multiplayer, letting two players fight on the same screen. A handicap system lets weaker players adjust difficulty to keep matches fair. This sequel adds color and nearly triple the puzzles of its predecessor, packing in 80 challenges for solo play. It’s Atlus’s final release for the Family Computer Disk System, made just as the platform was fading. While the original Kwirk remains better known, Puzzle Boys offers deeper gameplay with its balanced multiplayer and expanded content. The split screen mode and adjustable difficulty make it stand out even among modern puzzle games.
