Puzzle Pedestrians puts you in charge of a chaotic sidewalk. Your tools are absurd but effective: buzz pedestrians with bees, toss bananas to create obstacles, or herd crowds toward specific destinations. Each level has a goal like getting a kid their lunch or reviving a struggling bakery. You adjust the environment to redirect people’s paths without breaking the flow of the day. The puzzles feel like gentle chaos control, balancing timing and creativity to nudge outcomes without brute force. The game leans into its quirky charm with simple mechanics and a focus on small victories. Developer Kenichi Nishi’s history with playful problem-solving (think Chibi-Robo) shows in the level design. While it doesn’t reinvent the puzzle genre, its lighthearted approach and colorful characters make it a low-stress diversion. Released in 2021, it’s available on PC and Switch with a single-player campaign that’s easy to pick up and even easier to smile at.
