Qbasic Gorillas pits two gorillas against each other in a turn-based battle of explosive bananas. Each round you aim and launch your payload over a cityscape adjusting trajectory speed and planetary gravity to outmaneuver your opponent. The DOS original from 1991 strips combat to its basics relying on precise calculations and environmental tweaks to create tense back-and-forth matches. This IBM relic has aged well thanks to its tight mechanics and replayability. The gravity modifier adds a clever twist to projectile physics while the minimalistic graphics keep focus on strategy.
