About

Quadrapong is a four-player twist on the classic paddles-and-ball formula. Each side of the cabinet features a control paddle, letting two to four players battle to block a bouncing orb from slipping past their defenses. Points drain as the ball slips through goal openings, and players vanish once their score hits zero, narrowing the field until a final champion remains. The controls feel tight and responsive, leaning into the same simple physics that made its predecessor a hit while adding chaotic multiplayer mayhem. This 1974 release stood out for its layout as much as its gameplay. The woodgrain "cocktail cabinet" lets players gather around from all sides, a design first that made arcade play feel more social. With no frills or graphics to distract, the focus stays on the fast-paced rivalry between friends or strangers. Decades later it remains proof of how few elements can create lasting competitive fun.
