Quasimodo is a 1983 platformer where you control a bell-ringing guardian defending a castle under siege. Enemies climb the walls in waves, and your job is to jump between platforms, knock them back, and ring bells to slow their advance. The game pits your reflexes against increasing difficulty as waves grow fiercer and timing tighter. Simple mechanics make it easy to grasp but tough to master. The standout feature is its two-player co-op mode, letting friends team up to survive longer. For its era, the split-screen design was a clever way to keep the action intense without bogging down performance. While the pixel art and chiptune bells feel dated, the tight controls and escalating tension hold up. A quick burst of chaotic fun, best played with someone to share the panic.
