Qubic is a 3D Tic-Tac-Toe variant where players compete on a four-level cube grid. You take turns placing your symbol, trying to connect three in a row across any plane. The game originally displayed the board via teletype printouts before adding a visual interface in later updates. Single-player only, with moves alternating between human and computer. Created in 1968 by Digital Equipment Corporation, this early computer game ran on mainframes like the PDP-10. Its minimal design and spatial strategy make it a relic of 1960s programming, with a mind-bending twist on a familiar concept. No frills, just logic and geometry in three dimensions.
