Queue Simulator lets you sit in line for the heck of it. Take control of a character stuck in an endless wait outside a fictional MMO's login screen. Your goal is to outlast everyone else by managing your patience meter, trading with other stuck players, and customizing your avatar to look busy. Progress through increasingly absurd waiting room scenarios while the game mocks the real-world frustration it mimics. The game's deadpan humor and meta approach to gamer woes have earned it a cult following on indie forums. With no combat or quests, it appeals to fans of experimental simulations and dark comedy. Its PC release in late 2021 included regular free updates adding new queuing locations and seasonal events.
