Quick Quest is a pixelated roguelite platformer where you navigate randomly generated levels with just one life. You jump, strike, and charge attacks through nostalgic 2D stages, collecting gear like swords and helmets that tweak your playstyle. Each run ends when you fall, but unlocks permanent upgrades and modes over time. Boss fights stand out as the main event, 10 of them, each requiring precise timing and the tactical wall jump. These encounters mix the pacing of old-school action games with layered mechanics that adapt to your equipment. The gear system adds depth. Helmets and weapons have hidden compatibilities, forcing you to experiment with builds that might backfire. Throwables and consumables offer temporary help, but everything except "rogue patches" vanishes on death.
