About

Rabbit Punch is a chaotic side-scrolling shooter that replaces standard warships with rabbits in boxing gloves. Players blast through waves of enemies using a combination of rapid-fire lasers and explosive carrot missiles while dodging attacks from above and below. The game supports two-player co-op, letting teams coordinate attacks as they progress through levels packed with bouncing foes and destructible scenery. Each stage scrolls smoothly, balancing fast-paced action with moments to collect power-ups like canned carrots that enhance firepower or grant temporary shields. The game stands out for its wildly silly aesthetic and unapologetic retro energy. The mix of boxing mechanics and shoot ’em up gameplay creates a distinctive rhythm, while the final boss fight against a floating alien king remains a memorably over-the-top sequence. Though largely forgotten outside niche circles, Rabbit Punch has quietly gained a reputation as a cult classic, praised for its relentless pace and the sheer absurdity of rabbits wielding both fists and firearms in equal measure.

Storyline

Suddenly, an alien attack is launched on the peaceful country of "Bunnyland," and the king, princess, and princess's sister are kidnapped. The royal family special battle mecha "USAGI" goes to work, defeating the alien boss "Demon King" and rescuing the hostages!
