You manage leaks, handle unruly school trips, catch radioactive rats, and isolate dangerous objects in this third-person simulator. The game reveals the facility's secret history as you work through various tasks that uncover who caused the shoddy maintenance in the first place. Your main goal is to keep the core stable long enough to finish your duties before everything goes up in smoke. The absurdity of managing a nuclear disaster with so many distractions stands out immediately. You might find yourself more worried about the school trip than the reactor temperature at times. Players have noted how the tension builds as you balance these ridiculous scenarios against the very real threat of an explosion. The story unfolds gradually, giving you reasons to care about the plant's dark past even as the situation gets crazier. It is a strange mix of serious mechanics and complete madness that keeps things fresh throughout the single-player campaign.

Storyline

In Radiance (thirst person perspective game), we play the role of a nuclear power plant employee who must stop at nothing in order to avoid a core meltdown. Our hero will have to face various tasks that will lead him to discover the many features and principles of operation of the power plant. Along the way, he will learn the plant’s secret past and try to save the world. As tasks are completed, more mysterious pages of the history of the plant’s opening will be unveiled. The beginnings of its operation will come to light and everyone will find out who and why did such shoddy work. Provided that the core does not melt first…
