Rainbow Diamonds is a 2D platformer where you navigate colorful, pixel-art levels as Fyzo, a hero tasked with recovering scattered diamonds to rebuild broken rainbow pathways. Leaping, sliding, and dodging obstacles across procedurally generated stages, you collect gems while avoiding hazards like floating rocks and bottomless pits. The simplicity of movement contrasts with the challenge of precise jumps, making each level a test of reflexes and timing. The game’s retro aesthetic and tight controls stand out, with a charm that appeals to fans of old-school arcade gameplay. Though released in 2017, its availability on multiple platforms including Switch and mobile keeps it accessible. Community reviews highlight its addictive difficulty curve and the satisfaction of mastering tricky sections. With over 50 levels and randomized elements, it offers replayability without overwhelming complexity.
The citizens of the planet TECH-821 have the ability of travelling over the artificial rainbows they create with the power of diamonds. A big galactic explosion caused all of the diamonds being taken out from the rainbow machines. The artificial rainbows are no longer available and TECH-821 citizens cannot travel anymore. Fyzo, the braviest citizen, has embarked on a mission to restore all of the rainbows by collecting the diamonds. This will allow their fellow citizens to travel again through all of the galaxy.
