Ren Kijirushi is captured by a strange religious group that dwells in a village deep within the mountains and is made their "God". So begins his new life within a prison, taken care of by a boy named Takumi Natsume. Until a few years ago, Tatsumi himself had borne the title of "God", and he hates Ren for currently holding the position.
