Rave Rough! is a zany puzzle platformer where you fling vinyl records to cross surreal, music-obsessed alien worlds. As Scat, a scrappy DJ, you leap and ricochet through chaotic levels filled with floating turntables, rival musicians, and unpredictable hazards. Each area lets you string together creative moves, launching from records, dodging laser beats, or smashing obstacles with soundwaves. The controls emphasize fluidity over precision, letting you muddle through challenges with slapstick physics and goofy gaffes. The game’s real charm lies in its absurd premise and open-ended experimentation. Levels are crammed with hidden paths and optional battles, rewarding curiosity over planning. The retro-futuristic soundtrack and over-the-top character interactions lean into the comedy of musical obsession, turning platforming into a high-energy, record-slinging spectacle. Storyline

The year is 50XX, humanity is gone and the only remanence of them is music. Aliens invaded Earth a while after the extinction and built their society around humanity's music culture. However that's wayyy too much dramatic backstory! In the present, the biggest musician in the world is holding a massive contest. The prize? The Ultimate Sample CD!! Whoever gets to the top of his private HQ first, wins! This little contest gets the attention of mania amateur DJ, including our protagonist Scat who'll do anything for it!
