Recalhorn is an unreleased arcade platformer where you control a young boy and his white pet creature. You move through side scrolling levels by jumping on enemies or using a magic flute to attack. Collecting fruit gives you points, while making friends with animals lets you ride them for new powers. These mounts help you defeat tougher foes and cross the land more easily. Each world ends with a boss fight, and your character starts with five hearts per life before losing a full health bar. This Taito prototype never saw an official release, though a few test carts made their way into arcades. The game runs on the F3 system and offers a simple but engaging loop of combat and exploration. Players who manage to find a copy get access to content that was likely polished further before cancellation. It stands out as a rare glimpse into Taito's development history without any modern hype attached.
