Armed with a basic sword and dwindling nanotech resources, you battle through waves of mechanical enemies. Some attackers swarm fast, others lumber in with heavy hits. Every fight tests your ability to read patterns and adapt your strikes. The game stands out for its unforgiving yet fair combat system. Enemy types force you to constantly adjust tactics, no two encounters play the same. Developed by students at DigiPen Institute of Technology, it leans into classic soulsborne difficulty without relying on gimmicks. Set for release in early 2025, it already shows strong polish in its core loop. Fans of methodical melee challenges will find plenty to chew on here.

Storyline

In the remains of a world where technology has progressed to the level of seeming magical, players take the role of a survivor of the apocalypse who aims to rise against the robotic cult that has destroyed the world using nanomachines. Armed with only a sword and little remaining nanomachine power, players must master sword combat and seek revenge on the cybernetic overlord. In their path is an army of machines with a variety of attacks. Some war machines are fast and nimble while others are slow but hit hard. It is up to the player to figure out the best approach to dispatch their opponent.
