RemiLore throws you into a neon-soaked fantasy world as a high schooler trapped in a land overrun by giant robots. You hack through hordes of enemies using twin stick controls, swapping between melee strikes and magic spells to survive. The rogue-lite structure means each run reshapes your path, forcing you to adapt as you collect new abilities and gear. Up to four players can team up for co-op chaos, though trust is a luxury when a sly talking book might be hiding secrets. The game’s anime-inspired visuals pop with vibrant colors and fluid combat that feels responsive despite its chaotic action. While the story leans into familiar tropes of mysterious allies and world-saving stakes, the blend of fast-paced brawling and strategic loot management keeps things engaging. Released in early 2019, it’s a brisk pick-up-and-play option for fans of chaotic co-op and lightweight dungeon crawlers. Available on most major consoles and PC.
Remi, an ordinary high school student, has awakened Lore, a talking book who is a self-proclaimed “master” of magic. Together, they are drawn into the magical world of Ragnoah, which has been overtaken by mecha-monsters. Remi and Lore must venture together and find their way home, but can Remi really trust the mischievous magic book Lore? Who is the mysterious android girl “Choux” and why does she want to capture Lore? Will Remi ever find her way out of the magical world and return home?
