"Red Wings: American Aces isn’t going to blow your socks off; chances are your time with it will be quickly forgotten once you’ve moved onto the next title. It does offer plenty of fun while it lasts, though, and also looks pretty nice thanks to its comic-book styling. Add in the fact that it doesn’t cost a great deal, and have a game that fans of arcade-style shooters should certainly check out. Especially if you particularly enjoy dogfights."

Remington Great American Bird Hunt is a fast-paced shooting game focused on taking down birds in quick-fire waves. You wield licensed Remington shotguns that feel weighty and responsive, aiming for high scores by downing turkeys, ducks, and other fowl across 60 levels. Each bird type demands different tactics, some require careful timing, others aggressive spraying. A robotic retriever named Rockford scurries around to collect downed targets while you reload, keeping the action flowing. The game mixes straightforward reflexes with light strategy as you unlock new weapons and power-ups to handle tougher flocks. The sheer variety of birds and stages stands out, with challenges that mix up pacing and difficulty. While the single-player campaign is solid, the real draw is the four-player multiplayer modes, which let friends join for competitive or co-op hunts. It works best with the Wii Zapper but still plays fine with the standard remote. Released in late 2009, it’s a niche title that still holds up for players who enjoy arcadey shooting with a bit of variety and a focus on quick matches.
