Control a robotic snake that navigates maze-like screens to collect power-ups and grow in length. Each new segment makes avoiding obstacles and your own body harder. When you’re long enough, a door opens to the next stage. Early versions have 300 levels with shifting layouts and hazards. Later ports add boss fights where you chase and shoot down enemies to advance. The Famicom Disk System version reshapes the formula with brawny 100-level runs and challenging boss stages. Developed by Dual Corporation and published by Sony then Taito, it keeps the simple core loop but layers in variety through platform-specific tweaks. Retro fans note the game’s tight controls and escalating difficulty, though the stripped-down level count in some versions feels like a missed chance.
