In Restore, Reflect, Retry, you navigate a shifting maze filled with spectral figures and cryptic messages. Each playthrough loops you back into the same 90s-era mystery, but details warp, new dialogue, altered memories, and subtle changes to your character. The rules are simple: open the door, survive the maze, ignore the ghosts. But the longer you play, the less stable the world becomes. What sets it apart is the way it toys with your sense of progression. No two sessions feel the same, and the story evolves with each return. The minimalist design, sharp text prompts, stark visuals, focuses attention on the figuring out narrative. With support for multiple platforms, including mobile and web, it’s easy to get pulled into another loop. Early playtests suggest it’s a slow burn, but the creeping unease sticks. Storyline

None of you remembers who first found the game: the black rectangular box with the small screen on which instructions appear. Of course it piqued your interest: this is the 1990s, after all, and there isn’t much for teenagers to do in your small town. Your friends were intrigued, and so were you. So you started to play. And play. And play. What does it matter if no one remembers exactly how you discovered the game, or if the story changes ever so slightly each time you tell it? Or if you change ever so slightly too, every time you emerge into the real world once more? All that matters is that you keep playing.
