In Rev Grav you control a green alien sprinting through 50 obstacle-filled stages. Each level requires gathering coins while avoiding red enemies that trigger instant failure. You adjust gravity to flip the world sideways mid-run, leap over hazards, and time jumps to bypass patrols. The controls emphasize precision over power, balancing fast reflexes with route planning to reach checkpoints. The game’s tight mechanics and rising difficulty set it apart. Early levels teach core movement but later stages stack moving obstacles with tight enemy patterns that test both speed and foresight. With no checkpoints in many levels, a single miscalculation resets progress. Over 4 million players tested the prototype during development, shaping its current 8.2/10 average rating. The PS5 version adds ray-traced lighting for hazards that pop against the stark alien environments.
