= Ripout is a co-op first-person shooter where you and up to three friends navigate randomly generated derelict ships crawling with body-mutating alien threats. You carry a customizable sidekick weapon called the Pet Gun, which evolves alongside your character as you scavenge resources and upgrade abilities. The focus stays on survival, teamwork, and adjusting tactics to counter foes that reshape their anatomy mid-fight. The procedural design ensures no two runs feel alike, blending exploration with frantic gunplay. While the story threads about humanity’s fate remain vague, the emphasis on cooperative problem-solving and weapon customization keeps the experience engaging.
