About

RiQa was an unreleased adventure game from Bits Studios that showed up at E3 1999. Players controlled a female lead through third-person action sequences and exploration in a style similar to popular titles of that era. The project suffered multiple delays before being quietly cancelled without ever reaching store shelves. Very little information existed about the final design until a group of fans found and dumped prototype builds in April 2024, making them available online for the first time. What makes this title interesting is how long it stayed hidden after its initial reveal. The discovered code suggests the studio reused some concepts later in their 2003 release Rogue Ops. Fans can now play through these unfinished levels to see what a cancelled N64 game might have looked like. There is no official rating or community data to reference since it never launched, but the sheer rarity of getting hands on this prototype adds a layer of curiosity for anyone digging into gaming history.
