Ritual is a short adventure game about a group of friends whose cozy night takes a chaotic turn. You play through a series of escalating mishaps as their harmless plans spiral into something messier. The gameplay focuses on quick decision making with branching paths that lead to wildly different outcomes. Simple mechanics and a tight script keep the pace brisk even as the situations get absurd. The game started as a 48-hour prototype challenge and grew from there. While small in scope, it earned a 7.8/10 average from early testers for its blend of humor and chaotic storytelling. The contrast between the calm setup and the escalating chaos becomes the hook. No deep systems or long playtime required just a funny, self aware romp that knows exactly what it is.

Storyline

You and your friend have a cosy little night in planned. Your chosen activity would raise a few eyebrows if anybody found out... But nobody is going to find out. It's only a bit of harmless fun. Nothing could go wrong. ...Could it?
