Rockman Battle & Fighters is a portable fighting game where you play as Mega Man, Proto Man, Bass, or Duo. Choose from three sets of Robot Master boss battles in any order but each boss has a specific weapon weakness you unlock by defeating others. Strategy matters as you decide the fight order to build your arsenal. Each victory adds a new weapon letting you tackle remaining bosses with an edge. The game lets two players share progress via a link cable but lacks co-op or direct multiplayer. It’s a compact version of the Mega Man versus gameplay found in older arcade releases. While it doesn’t have the depth of later entries it’s appreciated by fans for its portability and tactical progression. The Neo Geo Pocket Color version remains a niche title with a dedicated following.
