RP7: Spin Your Own Encounter is a roguelike RPG that replaces traditional character control with a slot-based system. Players manage seven randomized encounter slots to shape their dungeon journey, rolling and re-rolling at each step to plan ahead. Progress involves battling monsters, collecting gold, and boosting stats while searching for a lost pet frog. The game leans into its minimalist design, letting chance and strategy guide each playthrough instead of scripted narratives. The standout is its approach to randomness as a core mechanic. Every roll reshapes the path forward, creating varied challenges and rewards that keep replayability high. With no combat tutorials or grinding, the focus stays on quick decisions and adapting to whatever pops up next. Developer Turtle Cream and publisher IndieArk are releasing it on PC September 12 2024.
