"Global Rescue is a triumph of “Local Scale” gaming. PeDePe GbR has managed to take the technical wizardry of real-world map integration and turn it into a compelling, often hilarious management sim. Is it perfect? No. The traffic AI sometimes has the spatial awareness of a goldfish, and the UI can feel a bit cluttered at times. But the thrill of seeing your own streets used as a digital playground is unmatched in the genre. If you have ever wanted to be the hero of your own high street (or just want to see a police chase end in a drive-thru), this is an absolute must-play. Just do not expect a Happy Meal if you end up in the Folkestone lock-up. I award Global Rescue the Thumb Culture Gold Award!"

Rugrats Go Wild Wildlife Rescue is a browser-based game from 2003 where players take on the role of a wildlife ranger in the South China Sea. The goal is to rescue and care for sick or endangered animals by collecting or purchasing medical supplies food and water. The game was part of Nickelodeon’s Wildlife Rescue series which focused on conservation themes through simple resource management and puzzle elements. Its release tied into the promotion of the Rugrats Go Wild movie blending educational content with light-hearted gameplay suited for younger audiences. Now a lost title the game was pulled from Nick.com in 2011 with no playable copies remaining due to outdated web technology. Limited screenshots and no gameplay footage make it a mystery to modern players. Despite its short lifespan it remains a nostalgic piece of early 2000s Nickelodeon’s digital efforts appealing to fans of the Rugrats franchise and those interested in the history of browser-based educational games.
