Ruined Kingdom lets you lead an orcish army in real-time battles against rival factions. You manage units on the field while upgrading troops between conflicts. Each victory grants experience points to unlock new weapons and tactics. The focus stays on fast paced combat and adapting strategies to enemy layouts. The game leans into its brutalist approach with steep difficulty and minimal hand holding. Players report a satisfying balance between resource management and action sequences though some find the interface clunky. Available on PC Linux and Mac since March 2023.
