Rumbleverse is a 40-player battle royale that mixes platformer mechanics with fast-paced fighting. Players jump punch and outmaneuver opponents in chaotic matches that end with a single winner. Matches are quick and action-focused with an emphasis on skill and strategy. Despite its ambitious setup Rumbleverse had a short lifespan. Epic Games shut down servers in February 2023 ending all online play. The game received mixed reviews with some praising its energetic combat and accessibility. Others found the lack of ongoing support and limited content issues. Iron Galaxy Studios known for Super Smash Bros. Brawl aimed for a lively free-to-play experience but couldn't sustain it. The closure means current players can't access matches anymore.
