Storyline

After a pesky tribe of Gauls denies Caesar the complete conquest of Gaul, the troubled General decides to return to Rome to speak to the Senate and request additional legions and supplies to finish the conquest of Gaul. Given Caesar has spent many years away from the Capital City, she finds that things have changed a lot since she has left. There are new players in power swaying the attitude of the senate including a mysterious Egyptian princess who has become Rome’s new cause celebre.
