The story revolves around escaping an ancient underground complex as a vengeful mage unleashes dark magic. Each session plays out in a shared VR pod setup letting players physically interact with the environment and each other. The game balances action and exploration with moments of tense teamwork. While it continues the saga from Rune Tales The Citadel, newcomers can jump in without prior knowledge. Set in a historically inspired French setting, the game weaves local legends into its dungeon design.
