Saban’s VR Troopers is a 1995 fighting game from Syrox Developments that lets you play as one of three armored heroes in three distinct modes. Story Game tasks you with defeating Grimlord’s army of mutants and cyborgs across a series of one-on-one brawls. Vs. Battle is a local two-player mode for quick bouts, while CPU duel pits you against an AI opponent. Each match lets you pick a fighter and stage, and if both sides choose the same character, the enemy gets a differently colored skin to tell them apart. Based on a US TV show that itself borrowed from Japanese tokusatsu series, the game leans into over-the-top action and bright visuals.
