Storyline

Out of the blue, Ayu receives an invitation to perform in a joint concert with the legendary idol Mihama Shizuru. Shizuru was hugely successful almost a decade ago, but retired from the world of idols and now she's past her prime. Shizuru has just turned forty, but she still boasts a rabid fanbase. Determined to capitalize on Shizuru's success and introduce her to a new generation of idol fans, Ayu's management contrives to have Ayu and Shizuru take to the stage together in Astoria. The internet is soon awash with excitement, but Ayu is less than enthused. Stubborn and selfish, Ayu doesn't want to share the stage with anybody: least of all a washed-up has-been like Shizuru.
