Samsara places you inside a dreamlike world where you inhabit different creatures' perspectives. Each shift alters how you interact with abstract environments filled with cryptic symbols and shifting physics. Progression relies on interpreting visual puzzles that change with your form, sometimes you’re tiny and weightless, other times colossal and slow. The lack of explicit guidance creates a fragmented experience, with players reporting equal parts wonder and confusion. The original VR version took home SXSW’s Jury Award in 2021. This PC port retains the unsettling beauty of shifting scales and viewpoints, though it loses some of the VR’s disorienting intimacy.
