Samurai Jack: Rave Slaves is a browser-based platformer where you fight a sinister DJ’s mind-control scheme. Play as Jack to navigate three levels filled with hypnotized dancers and amplifiers spreading Aku’s influence. The goal is to destroy amplifiers while avoiding the ravers they control. If you hit too many dancers, you’ll fail the level. The twist is using dance moves to counter their attacks, turning violent moshers into harmless partygoers. Simple controls and fast-paced action make it easy to jump into, though the timing can be tricky. The game’s oddball premise stands out, Samurai Jack vs rave culture, is as quirky as the Toonami series it comes from. Released in 2003, it’s a relic of early web gaming, now preserved by fans after Cartoon Network pulled it years ago. While short and a bit rough around the edges, its blend of platforming and retro anime charm has earned it a cultish reputation among niche audiences. A quick, strange trip best experienced with a side of late-night cartoon nostalgia.
This 3-level game takes its storyline from the Samurai Jack episode "Jack and the Rave". Aku's nefarious DJ holds a group of teenage ravers under his spell! Avoid the dancers and destroy all the amplifiers to release the kids from the grip of Aku's evil beats. The ravers will attack you if disturbed, but remember, they are acting under Aku's influence and would rather be dancing. Be careful not to hurt too many of the kids, or you won't advance to the next level. You can thwart the dancers' attacks by dancing.
