Samurai Kirby is a standalone level inside Kirby Super Star from 1996. Instead of his usual power-copying, Kirby wields a sword to slash through enemies and hazards in a series of side-scrolling stages. The action is fast and unforgiving, requiring precise jumps and rapid attacks to survive waves of foes. Each level introduces new obstacles like moving platforms and explosive traps that demand split-second decisions. A final boss fight pushes your reflexes to their limit with relentless patterns and quick health-draining moves. Despite its short length, this sub-game is notorious for its difficulty spikes. Longtime Kirby fans often rank it as one of the most challenging in the series, with some stages designed to trip up even experienced players. The Satellaview trial version released in Japan remains a mystery since no recordings or files have survived. While not the longest or most feature-rich Kirby game, its tight controls and punishing design make it a standout for those who enjoy testing their skills against tough platforming challenges.
