Satella Q is a quiz game built for the Super Famicom's Satellaview add-on. Players follow Toad through trivia rounds mixing multiple-choice questions and typed answers. Topics range from Japanese pop culture to identifying objects in blurry images. Between rounds you'll guide Toad across a grid-like pool table collecting numbered balls or play a poker-style card game with Yoshi-themed cards. The game uses broadcast audio to simulate a live quiz show with announcers and music spanning classical, J-Pop, and rock. Developed by Nintendo EAD in 1995 it was part of a rotating series of quiz events. Each episode had a set structure but incorporated varied question formats and mini-games. The Satellaview's unique periodic broadcast model meant players had to tune in during specific windows. While trivia sections test knowledge of niche facts the mini-games offer more relaxed puzzles. With its blend of educational and playful elements it remains a curious artifact of early interactive TV experiments.
