You play a young man investigating the murder of a software developer in an 80s-era mystery that plays out through text boxes and menu navigation. Set inside a game company, you interview staff members, examine locations, and piece together evidence to find the killer. The case escalates as more deaths occur, forcing you to balance conversation timing with exploration. A three-day deadline from the company president creates tension, pushing you to ask the right questions before time runs out. The game mixes methodical clue-gathering with narrative momentum, offering multiple endings based on your decisions after the killer is revealed. A late-game character provides a last-minute chance to adjust your theory, but most of the challenge lies in early choices. As a 1988 Famicom exclusive, it’s a forgotten example of early visual novel design with tense pacing and a structure that rewards careful note-taking.
