About

Saturday Night Slam Masters is a wrestling brawler from Capcom that swaps complexity for chaotic fun. Pick from ten grapplers with distinct movesets and go head-to-head in a ring where every match feels like a backyard brawl. Use three buttons to jump, strike, or grapple, then throw opponents into the ropes, climb turnbuckles, or drag them outside to grab random weapons. The action stays fast and messy whether you're slamming, pinning, or just trying to avoid getting dropkicked through the announcers' table. The game splits its personality between platforms. SNES players get Battle Royal mode for up to four folks, while Genesis owners get Death Match mode with barbed wire ropes and no rules. Both versions let you abuse the ring’s edges, but the Genesis edition ramps up the brutality with bloodier finishes. Though overshadowed by later wrestling titles, it holds a cult following for its raw, unpolished energy. A relic of early '90s arcade conversions that prioritizes rowdy fun over finesse.
